The Problem: The Political Science Department's website no longer met their goals of recruiting undergraduate and graduate students and showcasing the department's current news and events.
I redesigned their website to address these goals.
The Problem: The Roundup Yearbook staff found that students kept asking about portrait dates, deadlines, and locations.
I created a section where students could easily find when and where to get their yearbook portraits taken. I also added an event calendar for an overview of upcoming important dates. Since another goal of this site was to drive yearbook sales, I used a collection of photos to build excitement about preserving memories through a yearbook.
The Problem: Baylor's Student Government wanted a one-stop platform to inform and update students about news and upcoming events.
I designed a social media band that would pull updates from all their social sites to consolidate them into one reliable source. There are also snippets about different aspects of the student government so that users have the option to learn more if they desire. This prevents the "homepage" from becoming too crowded and allows it to serve as a simple news source.
The Problem: The Air Force ROTC wanted to break their information into manageable chunks of text - rather than the long list of paragraphs on the left example (below).
I designed a set of sliding cards to discuss each program benefit that would be activated on a hover state to reveal its details. This lets the user browse on their own instead of hitting them with a wall of text.
