Arendel Natural Tea
The Problem: Capture a growing health-conscious audience.
For this package set, I decided to create a tea drink that placed a heavy emphasis on its natural and fresh qualities. I used a butcher paper tone for the background of the labels with rustic and earthy colors to create a connection with nature and its natural products. Each drink has a unique color to differentiate each individual flavor, but they still relate to each other enough to work cohesively as a set.
The logo's typeface is slightly distressed, giving it a worn and organically imperfect quality. The small icons describing each type of tea are treated in a similar manner. The information of the front is presented in a simple grid format. The statements about the teas being Certified Organic and made with Fair Trade Ingredients are placed front and center to build credibility with the consumers. Likewise, providing flavor descriptors continues to engage the consumer and build rapport. To continue to push the natural and fresh qualities, I wrapped the caps of each drink in butcher paper. This relates to the way fresh milk bottles used to be packaged before they were delivered to doorsteps.
